Life Drawing

I have always been drawn to the human form, for its shape, colour and texture that varies greatly through light and shadow. Enjoying the contrast between dark and light and a lot go my work emphasises this.

When translating the human form into my art work i enjoy various materials. I love the texture and colours achieved through painting, whether using strong chunky acrylic paints, or drippy fluid water colours. For similar reasons i like coloured pencils and find they are always to hand, allowing me to translate my mood into colour, whether using them delicately, or sketchily and rough.

Computer generated drawing done on Photoshop using my a whom graphic tablet. Love the look, however having broke my laptop completely lost this file and no way to finish.
